Rotisserie Pineapple

There are two routes you can go with this delectable dessert. Choose a wonderfully sized pineapple and a rotisserie. Crank that rotisserie to the highest level possible. Scalp and peel the pineapple, and impale it upon the skewer. Here are the two mixtures of powder that you can go:

1 Cup Sugar, 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cloves, 2 Tablespoons butter, melted

Brown sugar, 2 Tablespoons butter, melted

Either route you decide to go, coat the pineapple with the selected powder, and pat it to ensure that the sugar sticks nicely. Put into the rotisserie. The time it stays in will depend on the size of the pineapple and how hot your rotisserie gets. For the one here, I have it in anywhere from 30-45 minutes. Once it starts to get golden brown, pull it out of the rotisserie. With a soft brush, brush the melted butter along a section of the pineapple, and then apply more powder. Rotate along section by section until the pineapple is completely coated. Return to the rotisserie, cooking until it is golden again (about 15 minutes).

Serve warm, maybe with some vanilla ice cream. Delicious!
